What’s New in 2017-2018 for Oklahoma?

• ACT Taken Online• ACT with Writing• All eligible students must test• Address Change Request Form• English Learner Supports• Consolidated Return Process• Extended Break before Writing

• ACT will allow an extended break for lunch between the end of the MC tests and the beginning of the writing test.

• Decision is made school-wide, not individually or by classroom.• During the break all examinees must be constantly monitored by

school personnel for examinee conversations and any other means of sharing test content, including cell phone usage.

• Test booklet and answer document must be collected and securely stored during the break. Under no circumstances can these materials be left unattended or stored in the same location as the examinees during the break.

• This ACT is equivalent to testing on a National test date. Test Administration and security protocols must be adhered to.

• Provides students with valid ACT scores that can be sent to colleges.

• Used for accountability purposes through OSDE.

• PearsonAccessnext is the web application used by testing staff to manage participation, “ordering” of materials, and online testing. Login at https://testadmin.act.org

• TestNav is the secure test delivery engine used by examinees to take the tests online. The browser-based version is located at https://tn.actonline.act.org and the installable app version can be downloaded at http://download.testnav.com/.

• Test Accessibility and Accommodations System (TAA) is the ACT test accommodations and English learner supports management system used by testing staff to submit requests.
