Uniform• Grey or black skirt/dress/trousers;• White shirt/polo top;• Burgundy sweatshirt/jumper/cardigan

– with school logo;• Black sensible shoes, white or grey

socks/tights;• Suitable winter coat or school fleece;• An old shirt to be used as a painting

Snacks and break time• Morning playtime is 10:30-10:45am

• KS2 children can go to the studio to buy drinks and healthy snacks/toast (20p per slice).

• Every child should bring a named bottle of water to school every day. New bottles/tops available from school office.

• Children should not take food from lunchboxes at playtimes.

• Equipment is provided in all playgrounds for children to play with.

• The climbing wall, tyre park and assault course are used on a rota- Year Three are Thursdays.

• Your child may bring in an activity book for wet playtimes.

Swimming

• Each class will have 16 weeks of swimming lessons.

• Each lesson is 45 minutes long.• Jen Yates, a Swimming Instructor,

and the Class Teacher teach 3 ability groups.

Swimming Kit• Kit: swimming hat, costume or trunks

(not baggy shorts), goggles, if needed, and a towel. Boys shorts must finish well above the knee;

• No jewellery; • Snacks can be brought in for after

swimming;• More details will be provided in the

Spring Term, just before Y3 start swimming.
