Childcare available for children under the age of 3 LUTHER NAILED IT On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s nailing of the 95 Theses, or affirmations of his faith, to the door at the Castle Church in Wittenberg on October 31, 1517, our new sermon series will focus on the “Five Principles of the Protestant Reformation.” These are the faith affirmations that Baptists believe strongly and “take for granted” that believers have always held. The sermons will celebrate the courage of Luther and other reformers (including Anabaptists) to challenge wrongly held convictions that contradict Scripture. SEAFARERS’ GIFT COLLECTION From now thru October 22, we will be collecting items to be distributed to the men and women at the Port of Houston Seafarers’ Center. Items will be collected in the Main Connection.
