Prayer of the Faithful

Priest: Trusting in the Lord, who promised that he would prepare a place inhis Father’s home for all his disciples, we bring our prayers before God.

Lector: For the Church, that we may be inspired during this difficult time tofind creative ways to both preach the word and serve our neighbor, let us prayto the Lord.

For elected leaders, that they may serve with humility all the people in theircare, let us pray to the Lord.

For mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, aunts, and expectant mothers, thatthey may know the value of their nurturing presence in the love of theirfamilies, let us pray to the Lord.

For all of us, that we may find comfort in the Lord when our hearts aretroubled and extend that comfort to others whose hearts are also troubled, letus pray to Lord.

For protection and strength for all those who serve in our armed forces, in ourpolice and fire companies, our hospitals and our ambulance companies, andalso for their families and loved ones, let us pray to the Lord.

We Pray for: William L. Keller Jr. The People of St. Paul’s Parishfor whom this Mass is offered, let us pray to the Lord.

For all the prayers that we hold in the silence of our hearts; for all ourintentions spoken and unspoken………………… let us pray to the Lord.

Priest: God of all, you sent your only Son to a sinful people and he shows usthe way back to you. Help us always to keep his way firmly in our sights, andwe make all these prayers to you through Jesus Christ, our Risen Lord.
