Mass Book
for 2016 is now open.
Dear Friends:
Welcome to the first day of summer! With this new summer season before us we know that our
environment changes, temperature and humidity begin to rise. We begin to plan our vacations at
the beach or in the mountains. We have more relaxing time to be with our families. For the staff at
Holy Eucharist it is a time to evaluate our programs and prepare for September. During these sum-
mer months more staff changes will be coming to Holy Eucharist.
As you have read in the bulletin we are looking for an administrative assistant. Jackie Kaine will be
retiring the last week of August. I want to thank Jackie for her service to the parish for these past six
years. Her dedication to the position, warm smile and welcoming spirit to those who visited the
office have touched many persons and families over the years. The parish truly appreciates all that
she has given over these years.
Also, Rich Vosler has stepped down from the position of Faith Formation Coordinator. I want to
thank Rich for his leadership with LIFT and helping to get LIFT organized and operating over this
past year and for laying the groundwork for his further development. His dedication to Faith For-
mation and the parish has been great and we have been truly blessed to have him.
Donna Remaley, who is a parishioner who has been involved in education, has accepted the posi-
ton. Donna has been involved with LIFT and with Sacramental Prep with Anne Marie Kelly and
our families. I look forward to working with her to continue to offer the parish a great Faith For-
mation Program.
If you have some time during the week or on the weekend to help with the set-up of the festival it
would be greatly appreciated. Remember Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm and Saturday mornings at
10:00am. Regarding the festival and all the people who help set up we are really in need of some-
one with plumbing experience. If you do have that experience please let me know after mass.
Looking forward to seeing you on the weekend. Have a wonderful week.
Fr. Andrew

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
The Knights of Columbus Council 8733 will be sponsoring a Holy Hour of Adora-
tion on Friday, June 26 from 6-7 pm in the Daily Chapel. For the past 4 years, the
US Catholic Bishops have asked the faithful to stand up for Religious Freedom
during the Fortnight for Freedom, which extends from June 21 to July 4.
This year, the Knights ask our parish to spend some quiet time before the Lord in
the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Come and join us in petitioning our Lord to
“deliver us from evil” and protect our religious freedom.

daughters in the family of the Church. May your grace and love help our families in every part of the
world be united to one another in fidelity to the Gospel. May the example of the Holy Family, with the

and prayer and to always seek your truth and live in your love. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

HERO Y OUTH M INISTY
The Annual Catholic Appeal throughout the Diocese of Trenton has begun. Each year the
Bishop seeks the support of all of the members of the diocese to further the work of our
ministries. Each of us has a vital part in all we do in Christ’s name, and each of us can
share in all we do with a gift to the Annual Catholic Appeal. Our single Act of Faith pro-
pels the works of love that build up our Church. You make that happen with a generous
gift to the Annual Catholic Appeal. As the people of the Diocese of Trenton, you have an
opportunity to help others see Christ working in our midst.
