They joined with us by statement of faith on April 2 nd . Tell them how happy you are they have joined our family! KBC is hosting the Community Lenten Services this year. Each Wednesday the service begins at 12:05pm. This week the preacher is Rev. Megan Limburg, SMWC/Trinity Episcopal. St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church will serve lunch. Holy Week WOW—Join us at 6pm for a special Holy Week WOW in the sanctuary! There will be no meal. The regular WOW schedule will resume April 19 th . Maundy Thursday Dinner—will be on April 13 th at 5:30pm. Maundy Thursday Worship—Our choir will present a special cantata, “In the Final Week” by John Purifoy. Enter the sanctuary in silence. Listen for God to speak to you. Then, depart in silence. You may still order flowers to decorate the sanctuary for Easter. The following are available: 5 lilies, 9 daffodils, and 3 tulips. Please fill out a slip and put in a box either out front or in the back. The cost is $7.00 each. On Good Friday, April 14th, we will have an interactive Stations of the Cross. Enter the sanctuary during the morning and prayerfully follow the events of Jesus' crucifixion. There will be posters depicting Jesus going along the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem. Participants can color the posters, contemplate Jesus and what his sacrifice means, and pray. Flowering of the Cross—As part of our Easter celebration we will be flowering the cross again this year. Please bring freshly cut flowers from your garden or ones you purchase to adorn and transform the cross from a symbol of death to a vibrant symbol of new life! When you arrive at church, come and take a few moments to help us decorate the cross. Super Tuesday is April 18 th . Committees will meet between 4:30-6:30 and church council will meet at 6:30. Committee chairpersons, please have your committee meet to prepare a report for the upcoming business meeting. All members are welcome to attend. The Quarterly Business Meeting will be on April 23. Please submit any items for the agenda to the church office by April 19 th . April 30 th is WMU Sunday. There will be a Ladies Chorus leading the music. All women are invited to participate. Practice on April 19 th and 26 th at 7pm.
