THE NEXT GENERATION OF BREAKTHROUGH TECHNOLOGIES TO COMBAT GLOBAL POVERTY WENCESLAUS WASIKE LOGISTICS OFFICER Wasike will be working with the health team of the Institute for Transformative Technologies (ITT) to support clinical trials and operations in Kenya, by identifying and setting up demonstration clinics as well as planning scale-up operations. He is currently involved in developing the logistics policy for ITT’s Universal Clinics project. Wasike joins ITT from Topcare Clinics, a group of private clinics supporting medium- and low-income regions, where he supported the procurement of consumables and devices for facilities in Kenya’s Kitengela and Subukia areas. He started his career at Kenya Defense Forces as a sailor, which involved carrying out general military duties, warship communications and maritime operations. He later moved on to support the US and NATO forces in Iraq and Afghanistan as a Senior Logistics Coordinator, where he supported supply chain operations. He is currently pursuing his final year in Bachelor of Science in Procurement and Logistics from Kenya College of Accountancy University.
