  • Young Jean Lee (WriterPerformer/Future Wife) is an OBIE award-winning playwright and director who has been called "a rising$af' by the New York Times and "one of the best experimental playwrights in America' by Time Out New York. She has toured herwork to over twenty cities around the world with Young Jean Lee's Theater Company. She is a member o{ New Dramatists and 13Pand has an MFA from Mac Wellman's playwriting program at Brooklyn College. Lee received a 2010 fellowship in Plapvriting fromNYFA, and a 2010 Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. She is currently under commission from PlanB/Paramount Pictures, Lincoln Center Theater, Playwrights Horizons, and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

    Paul Lazar (Director) co-founded the BESSIE and OBIE award-winning Big Dance Theater in 199 1 with Annie-B Parson and MollyHickok. His work with Big Dance includes conceiving, directing and/or performing in such works as COMME TOUJOUB HERE ISTAND, PLAN B, and Mac Wellman's ANTIGONE. At Classic Stage, Mr. Lazar directed DON JUAN COMES HOME FROM THE WAR(von Horvath) and ORESTES (Euripides). He has performed in The Wooster Group's NORTH ATLANTIC, BRACE UB EMPEROBJONES, and THE HAIRY APE, and also in THE THREE SISTEFIS at Classic Stage, Young Jean Lee's LEAR, Marie lrene Fornes'MUD, and Richard Maxwell's COWBOYS AND INDIANS. Film roles include SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, MARRIED TO THE MOB,and THE HOST. He teaches at NYUmsch School ol the Arts.

    Tim Simmonds (Music Director/Future Wife) is a Brooklyn-based singer and songwriter, originally from Essex, England. Heperformed and recorded music for Young Jean's previous shoq LEAR, and currently sings in a Captain Beefheart cover band calledAdmiral Porkbrain.

    Faye Driscoll (Choreographer) is BESSIE award-winner for her work 837 VENICE BOULEVABD. Driscoll's most recent work,THEFIE lS SO MUCH MAD lN ME (2010) was created through commissions lrom both the ADF and DTW and will be at the FuseboxFestival in Austin, TX this April. Driscoll has collaborated wilh several theater artists including: Cynthia Hopkins, Young Jean Lee,Taylor Mac, and NTUSA. Faye is cunently teaching at Barnard and NYU and working on her new shoq which will have iterations atthe Joyce in June 2011 and al the Kitchen in Spring 2012. She is a 201012011 Choreographic Fellow at the Maggie Allesee NationalCenter for Choreography.

    Michael Hanf (Future wife) is a performer, clmposer, and occasional actor currently based in Manhattan. He can be seenperforming on vibraphone, drums, guitar and singing in several groups. He has been the vibraphonist for Hess is More since 2010,plays drums lor Joseph Kec*hr in concert and also on his new album, has worked with Panoply Performance Laboratory as both amusician and actor and plays guitar for Sanda Weigl. Working under the name "MdH,'he recorded a solo album in early 2010 and iscurrently writing for and performing with his band, Marzana Carnal. www.michaelhanl.com

    Nick Jenkins (Future Wife) grew up in a small town in South Carolina called Waherboro. Upon receiving his BA Degree in MusicPerformance (Jazz Percussion) he went on io spend over 8 years in Charleston, SC performing in indie-rock bands, jazz andattemative-country proiects, composing musb lor short films and silenl discos, and illustrating an annual calendar- He now resides inBrooklyn, NY. He has written songs and played myriad instruments (guitar, keyboards, harmonium, kalimba, shruti box, melodica,glockenspiel, Omnichord, ...) with a number ol bands, most recently lhe noisefop trio You Aren't My lttlother and the drone{olk projectYer Sweet Chimneys. By day, he rirrorks in children's publishing. He is also a writer, artist, graphic designer, music and book reviewer,DJ, and aspiring ornithologist.     Roxana Ramseur (Costumes) is a Henry Hewes nominated Local USA 829 Costume Designer and Craftsman, and has beendesigning and building costumes for new theater and dance since 1996- Collaborators include Young Jean Lee (THE SHIPMENT,LEAB, UFMTS) Brian Brooks Moving Co., Sara Juli, Messenger Theater Co., Strike Anywhere Performance Ensemble and BlackMoon Theatre Co.   • 13P (13 Playwrights, lnc.) was formed in 2003 by 13 midcareer playwrights concerned about what thetrend of endless readings and new play development programs was doing to the texture and ambition ofnew American plays. We decided we were ready to take matters into our own hands. l3P realizes fullproductions of new plays. The resources of the company are placed at the disposal of the playwright atwork, who serves as the company's artistic director during the production of her play.

    When 13P formed, we agreed to produce 13 plays, one by each of our members, and then implode.We've produced 1'l plays now-implosion is near!
