West Mountain- West Mountain Trail South

Directions: (West Mountain Trail - South [34]

Take Hwy 55 to Smiths Ferry. Turn left onto road #626. There is camping in

Tripod Meadows and in Little Sagehen Basin. Bring drinking water, as these are

no facilities camping areas. There is parking at the trail head, but scout before

driving your rig in. The road is a one lane dirt track with a small meadow about

¼ mile from the road.
