Citation 1. This determination may be cited as the Medical (Unmet Area of Need) Determination (No. 15) 2005.

Commencement 2. This determination comes into operation on the day on which it is published in the Government Gazette.

Unmet area of need 3. The area of need specified in the Schedule is determined to be an unmet area of need for the purposes of section 11AF(1)D of the Act.

Expiry of determination 4. This determination expires on 1 July 2006.

INTENTION TO REMOVE AN ENTRY IN THE REGISTER OF HERITAGE PLACES In accordance with the requirements of Section 54(1) (b) of the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990, the Heritage Council gives notice that the entry in the Register on a permanent basis in relation to the Place being “Crawshaw’s House” at 116 Broome Street, Perth, is to be removed from the Register.


The reason for the removal is that the Development Committee of the Heritage Council has determined that retention of the place is not feasible or prudent. The entry in the Register is to be removed in relation to that parcel of land comprising Lot 5 on Plan 254 being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title Volume 1540 Folio 981. The Heritage Council invites submissions on the proposal. Submissions must be in writing and should be forwarded to the following address not later than 5pm on 2 November 2005. BUSH FIRES ACT 1954

City of Canning

FIREBREAK REQUIREMENTS Notice to all Owners and/or Occupiers of Land

Pursuant to the powers contained in Section 33 of the Bush Fires Act, you are hereby required on or before 31 October 2005 or within 14 days after the date of you becoming an owner or occupier should this be after 31 October 2005 and thereafter up to and including 31 March 2006 to have a firebreak clear of all flammable material at least three (3) metres wide immediately inside all external boundaries of the land and also immediately surrounding all buildings situated in the land. You are additionally required to clear and remove all vegetation overhanging adjacent properties and remove all dense vegetation from vacant properties and install further firebreaks on the land if necessary to achieve this.

If it is considered impractical for any reason to clear firebreaks or carry out other work as required by this notice, you may apply to the Council or a duly authorised officer not later than 14 October 2005 for permission to install firebreaks in alternative locations on the land. If the Council or a duly authorised officer does not grant permission, you shall comply with the requirements of this notice.

Flammable material is defined for the purpose of this notice to include bush, (as defined in the Bush Fires Act) boxes, cartons, paper and like flammable materials, rubbish and also any other combustible matter, but does not include green standing trees or plants in gardens or lawns.

The penalty for failing to comply with the requirements of this notice is a penalty of not less than $250 or more than $5,000 and such person in default is also liable, whether prosecuted or not, to pay the costs of a private contractor being engaged by the City of Canning to carry out the required work.
