1 The price ofregular and diesel fuel is an amount equal to the retail price per gallon ofregular and diesel fuel effective for the 251h calendar day ofthe immediately preceding month determined RCCOrding to the United Stares Department ofenergy (DOE) Energy infonnation Administration (EIA) survey on Weekly Retail Gasoline and Diesel Prices Regular Grade- West Coast (PADD 5) and Weekly Retail Gasoline and Diesel Prices Diesel All Types - West Coast (PADD 5) The prices may be obiained by calling the DOE ElA at (202)586-8800 or via lhe DOE ElA website at wwwejadoegov via the Petroleum link
2 Ifthe 2511i day ofthe calendar month is a Federal holiday the fuel price will be determined based on the stated DOE price available on the next subsequent business day

1 The price ofregular and diesel fuel is an amount equal to the retail price per gallon ofregular and diesel fuel effective for the 251h calendar day ofthe immediately preceding month determined RCCOrding to the United Stares Department ofenergy (DOE) Energy infonnation Administration (EIA) survey on Weekly Retail Gasoline and Diesel Prices Regular Grade- West Coast (PADD 5) and Weekly Retail Gasoline and Diesel Prices Diesel All Types - West Coast (PADD 5) The prices may be obiained by calling the DOE ElA at (202)586-8800 or via lhe DOE ElA website at wwwejadoegov via the Petroleum link
2 Ifthe 2511i day ofthe calendar month is a Federal holiday the fuel price will be determined based on the stated DOE price available on the next subsequent business day

The following Fuel Surcharge Rules will apply tn carriers who are authorized tn provide charter service by limousine and who are authorized to charge and collect a fuel surcharge
1 The price ofregular and diesel fuel is an amount equal to the retail price per gallon ofregular and diesel fuel effective for the 251h calendar day ofthe immediately preceding month determined RCCOrding to the United Stares Department ofenergy (DOE) Energy infonnation Administration (EIA) survey on Weekly Retail Gasoline and Diesel Prices Regular Grade- West Coast (PADD 5) and Weekly Retail Gasoline and Diesel Prices Diesel All Types - West Coast (PADD 5) The prices may be obiained by calling the DOE ElA at (202)586-8800 or via lhe DOE ElA website at wwwejadoegov via the Petroleum link
2 Ifthe 2511i day ofthe calendar month is a Federal holiday the fuel price will be determined based on the stated DOE price available on the next subsequent business day
3 The DOE fuel price obtained will then be indexed based on the matrix set forth below to determine the fuel surcharge The fuel surcharge will apply for all charter limousine transportation beginning on the 131 day ofthe folJowing month and will remain in effect through the last day ofthat calendar month

Sec 36 Section 51 ofAuembly Bm No 175of this sesaion is hereby amended to read as follows
Sec S1 1 Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2 and in addition to any other tee or 8S9eSSDlCDt imposed pursuant to this chapter an excise tax is hereby imposed on the conocction whether by dispatch or ocher means made by a conunon motor carrierofa passenger to a person or operator willing to transport the pmcnger at the nde of 3 percent of the total fare charged for the transportation which must include wi1hout limitation all ~~ redmology fUs ~ charges for the use of o credit or debit card aad any otbct amount that is part of~ fare The DepartmcDl of T820llioo sball cbargc and wllcct from ea1b commDn motot carrier ofpassengem the excise tax imposed by this subsection
