Intellectual Property Cases and Decisions Select which case law view you wish to search from the Cases and Decisions section of the IPSource start page: Intellectual Property Cases and Decisions or Canadian Patent Reporter (C.P.R.).

After running your search, you may choose to view a case from another reporter by selecting it from the Case Views section located to the right of the decision.

C.P.R. Classification Scheme: You can also access the Canadian Patent Reporter classification scheme from the Tools & Resources section of the start page (see Figure 3).

IPSource Legislation Search and browse IPSource statutes and regulations from the federal jurisdiction as well as all Canadian provinces and territories.

IPSource Commentary Search and/or browse 10 constantly-updated looseleaf treatises covering all intellectual property topics. Note: At any point while browsing, you can enter a plain language or Terms & Connectors query into the search box to search the section of the book displayed.

Canadian Encyclopedic Digest: Search and/or browse a black-letter description of the law as it pertains to core intellectual property topics like patents, copyright, trade-marks and passing off, and industrial design.

Articles and Newsletters Get summaries of recent legal developments from IPSource newsletters, located in the Current Awareness section of the IPSource start page. Accessing Legal Memoranda and Saunders, Rennie, Garton; Federal Courts Practice You may access Legal Memoranda and Saunders, Rennie, Garton; Federal Courts Practice from the Tools & Resources section of the IPSource start page. These documents are available on a pay-per-view basis.

Once you have linked through to specific pay-per-view content, you may run a search. An Out of Plan banner appears next to each result as a visual reminder that you will be invoiced for viewing the document. Select the document title to retrieve the full text.
