• According to AICTE, around 2000 institutes offer MBA/PGDBM programs
• Around 1,70,000 students get enrolled each year
• Karnataka State alone has 135+ institutes with 11,400+ annual student enrollment
• Every year, around 2000 brochures with 1,70,000 CVs land in HR department of companies
REASONS FOR LOWER CAMPUS PLACEMENT
• WHILE SELECTING COMPANIES FOR SUMMER PROJECTS , FUTURE PLACEMENT IS LOST SIGHT OF (only 10-15% of students are placed in companies in which they complete summer

• Many a times a placement co-ordinator does not have either good exposure to industry or not up to date with it.

• Institutes do not have an up to date database of companies with employment potential that not only meet the requirement of bright but also not so bright. Without this, the institutes will have a small number of companies to choose from either for summer projects or for campus placement.
• Placement cells need more budgetary support as much as or more than admission department, which ensures almost 100% placement also paving way for the expansion of the institution in the long run.
