2. Teaching Vocabulary15T-Ss-T tells the Ss what money is used in the UK. He explains them the differennce between the coins and the notes, and also shows the Ss a variety of coins and notes of different value. T then explains the Ss how the price of an article in a shop is read, making the Ss aware of the fact that in plural, they have to add an s. T reads some examples, then he lets the Ss read by themselves. (all this time he is showing the Ss images with coins and notes used in the UK and also writes the prices on the blackboard.)-Ss pay attention to the Ts explanations, reading and write down the prices on their notebooks. Afterwards they will read by themselves the prices on the blackboard.- To teach Ss what money is used in UK, and how the prices of the articles in the shop should be read and written.Listening, Writing and Reading

Role-play

-T gives the Ss an exercise that they will resolve together with their deskmate. At this task they will have to put in order a dialogue between a shop assistant and a customer.( Ss have 5 minutes to fulfill the task, all this time T monitors) -Afterwards, the solved task will be read aloud by the students by roles. Each student will have either the role of the shop assistant, or the one of the customer.-Ss pay attention to the task explanations. Afterwards they begin to solve the exercise in pairs.When the time is up, the the solved task will be read aloud by the Ss. Each Ss will have either the role of the shop assistant or the one of the customer.-This way the Ss will practice the notions related to money that they just been tought.-They will use these notions in daily circumstances.-Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking

4. Teaching Vocabulary10T-Ss-T asks the Ss what kind of words related to clothes they know. He expects words like: dress, shirt, pants etc.Afterwards T tells the Ss new words related to clothing: trousers, shoes, shirt, tracksuit etc. The new words will be written on the bb and images with them will be shown to the Ss. -Ss utter words like: dress, shirt, pants etc.-Ss pay attention to the images that show various type of clothes, and copy them from the bb in their notebooks.-To introduce the Ss in the new topic, clothes.-Images are used for the Ss to better memorise and understand the new words.-Listening, Writing

Role-play-For the next task, Ss will work in pairs, and would make shopping dialogues for the things in the shop window, like in the example. T names two Ss to read the first example.-Ss pay attention to the Ts explanations. Two Ss read the first example, afterwards the Ss will make examples by their own, using the structure of the previous example.- To make conversations of their own.-Reading, Speaking

6. Homework assignment3T-SsSs-T-For homework assignment, Ss would have to complete the comentary at the bottom of the page(ex. 4, page 107) with the following words: sweatshirt, leggings, welcome, jeans etc. The first three gaps will be filled with the Ts assistency, the rest by the Ss at home.- Ss pay attention to the Ts explanations, they fill in the first three gaps with the Ts assistency. The rest of the gaps will be filled in at home.- To practice by their own the use of the new learned words in proper conetxts.- Reading, Writing
