Methodology

• Absolute numbers coming from Erasmus data and answers to the survey

• Estimations based in the percentage of Erasmus outgoing students represented by responses (60.7% in 2003/04, 62.3% in 2004/05, 63.0% in 2005/06, 63.2% in 2006/07 and 62.6% in 2007/08)

• Only students in exchange for more than three months considered

• No work placements or language assistants included
