What I’ve learned about PPT
When you make a PPT you should brainstorm first. Who is your audience? Where are
you presenting? What are you telling them? What does the audience know about the material?
Make sure you ask yourself those things before you move on.
You want to keep your PPT SIMPLE. Don’t make your PPT too complex. you want to
plan no more than one idea per slide. Don’t put too much on one slide. Also always try to put it
on click so you can at least put a little more on each slide. Don’t put on automatic unless you
have to.
Color is a way to determine what attention you get from the audience. It can put them in
some type of mood depending on which color it is. Examples are, Yellow gets the audience
attention right away, green gets the audience in a comfortable position, and gray promotes
“quality.” make sure you use the right color for one presentation of for each slide.
Images are suppose to show the audience the right idea if they don’t understand the
massage you typed. But you shouldn’t do it to take up space, or not overload on images. Also
make sure you have good quality images. if the images don’t help the audience, then the images
are worthless.
When you are finished, then you site your work. if you don’t, then you might be caught
with copyright. You never want that to happen. So please sight your work. Also it would make
your presentation look more professional. these are the things I learned about power point.
