There are three main types of Geography. Do you know what they are?
• Physical geography• Human geography• Environment But what do they mean?
Physical Geography is...
• Physical geography is the study of the Earth’s natural features. It is about the land, sea and environment around us. Landforms are natural features formed by rivers, sea, ice and volcanoes

Human Geography is:
• Human geography is the study of where and how people live.
Task 2Can you name 5 things which could be
classed as Human Geography in your area?

• Our surroundings and how we pollute and how we are learning to take care more care of our world.

• Present your poster neatly - colour in, use a pencil and ruler etc

Success Criteria.• 1-2 marks-Did not use A4 paper size, no title, few pictures, no
labels and no frame to photos or pictures. General answer lacking specific detail.
• 3-5 marks- Used A4 paper size, a given title, pictures or photos did not indicate physical, human or environment geography and no labels.
• 6-8 marks- Used A4 paper size, a given title, pictures or photos did indicate physical, human or environment geography , labels are added and frame given to photos with pencil and ruler.
• 9-10 marks- Used A4 paper size, a given title, pictures or photos did indicate physical, human or environment geography , labels are added and notes are inclusive and frame given to photos with pencil and ruler.
