Whenever you run Macro Keys, ‘Macro Shortcuts’ windows will open by default where you can find ‘Add
macro’ button. Clicking on it shows ‘Type Macro and Text to Send’ field. Insert shortcut key in Macro field
and the text that you want to be replaced with that shortcut and click ‘Ok’ and you are done. To use this
macro, simply type prefix followed by the shortcut key, and Macro Keys will automatically replace your
shortcut key with the pre-specified replacement text.

You can store and manage multiple clipboards entries very easily. To use this feature of Macro Keys, choose
the option ‘Enable Multiple Clipboard’ and click ‘Apply’. When you enable this option, Macro Keys will

choose to place newly copied items on the top of list by enabling ‘Add New Entries on Top’ from the Option
panel. You can also set the option to get the already copied content as soon as Macro Keys is executed.

Whenever you run Macro Keys, window of ‘Macro Shortcuts’ will open by default enabling you to add,edit and delete macros. Adding macro using Macro Keys is very simple.
Te set a macro, run the program and click ‘Add Macro’ button. ‘Type Macro and Text to Send’ fieldwill allow you to set a shortcut text as Macro and the replacement text, word, sentence, paragraph(s)even articles that you want to be played back for that macro.
To make Macro Keys work, run the program and all word and replacement combinations will beactive. Once Macro Keys is running, it will monitor all keyboard activities. General settings of Macro Keys have following options:
Start at Windows Startup (recommended option / active by default)Use Clipboard for All (Active by default)Use Keyboard for All Simply check any of these items to activate them.
Macro Keys offers you two different options to insert all of your macros into other applications eitherby using Windows clipboard (Use Clipboard for All) or by using keyboard option (Use Keyboard forAll).
Macro Keys send replacement text to your application in one of the above two methods when youenter a macro. If you choose ‘Use Clipboard for All’, Macro Keys will copy the replacement text to theWindows clipboard and then tell your application to paste it into your current document. While if youchoose ‘Use Keyboard for All’, Macro Keys will send the replacement text to your application as if itwas being typed from the keyboard.
Multiple clipboard Settings
When you run the application and copy any item, Macro Keys will automatically save that item in itsmultiple clipboards and have it ready to paste whenever you need it. Multiple clipboards feature ofMacro Keys is enabled by default to store up to 100 copied items in it. If you copy more than 100items, Macro Keys will replace the older ones to make room for the new entries.
With Macro Keys, you can also fetch clipboard content that you have copied when it is not running. Ifyou enable this option, Macro Keys will automatically trace out what you have copied and place it inits multiple clipboards. You can also choose to place newly copied items on the top of the list. Toenable/disable any of these options, click ‘Options’ > Multiple Clipboard Settings and place a checkmark beside the options and click ‘Apply’. Macro Keys Settings
Macro Keys setting helps you to specify a prefix to be used with all macros to execute them and thepath where an encrypted file of your recorded macros will be saved. The prefix that you define herewill be used with all of your macros.
