100 meters long with a try zone on each sideObject of the game: Run the ball up the field to score a try.There are 15 people on each teamForwards: strong men on the front lines who help move the ball up the field. Preform scrums and lineouts.Back: sleek and faster players have most ball handling and scoring attempts.

The ForwardsForward positions are based off of a scrum. Numbers coincide with positionsFront Row(1,2,3): Prop, Hooker, PropSecond Row(4,5): 2 LocksLast row(8): 8-ManOn either side of the scrum(6,7): Flankers

The BacksScrum Half (9): almost a forward and back. Quarter back of rugbyFly Half (10): Does most kickingInside and Outside Centre(12,13): RunWing (11): RunFull Back (15):RUN!

Game Play:Starts with kick off.Running forward and kicking ball gains yards.CAN ONLY PASS BACKWARD!When a player is tackled he presents the ball back to his team and a ruck is formed.Ruck is done to keep or obtain possession of the ball

Last foot of their own teams player becomes the off-sides line off of a ruck.Kicking for touch: another way to gain yards. Forces a line out.

Line outBoth teams line up across from each other and lift a player to try to get the ball. Hooker throws in usually

After penalty:Scrum: test of strength between the two teams. Two teams come together by locking heads and the scrum half then rolls the ball between the two teams.

Points!Try (5 Points): Like a touch down but needs to be touched down.Conversion (2 points): kick through the goal posts after a tryDrop goal (3 points): kick through goal posts after a set piece. Penalty kick (3 points): kicking for points instead of choosing a scrum or other set piece

Finally: The best thing about rugby is that if you become a player and take in the experience. Your team becomes your second family.
