What made me scared of monkeys?

When I was little, I feared that I looked like a monkey. I had puffy cheeks, bulgy eyes, and dark hair, the perfect monkey.

When I was about 4, I can remember going to the zoo. I always saw the monkeys doing stupid things, I was afraid that they would hurt me.

When I was 6 I watched King Kong, the giant monkey attacking innocent people. I was afraid that the monkeys at the zoo would stick their arms through the holds in the cage and stangle me.

When I went to the zoo at age 7 I remember not going near the moneys, because they would make those awful noises and had crazy eyes. But my parents forced me.

Monkeys are beginning to save kids and dogs, one wrong move and the monkey can kill the thing. I kept seeing the story of the lady whose face was ripped off by a monkey. I feared I was next.

I remember watching television shows about monkeys doing “good deeds”. All I thought of was they are not good animals, and should become extinct.

My aunt bought me a stuffed monkey for Christmas one year. I wouldn’t even take it out of the box.

I went to the zoo when I was 9 and I actually went to the monkey par. I didn’t go near the windows but I made improvement.

When I went to the zoo, the summer of 8th grade, I was scared to go see the monkeys, but I went in and saw them. They should all die.
