Florence School of Regulation: Sharing the Knowledge of Energy Regulation

FSR is a school of regulation where regulators

and practitioners meet and discuss FSR organises 15 policy events a year as well

as training for stakeholders involved in energy regulation (regulators, energy companies, European institutions)

FSR ANNUAL TRAINING ON REGULATION OF

ENERGY UTILITIES

The objective of the FSR Annual Training is to train staff of regulatory

authorities and market operators and to allow them to develop a sound

knowledge of regulatory principles.

Structure:

• Block I in Florence (1 week)

• Block II online: e-Learning (7 months)

• Block III in Florence (1 week)

REGULATION OF GAS MARKETS

This training course deals with specific and current regulatory issues in gas markets.

During the five working days, mornings are devoted to

introducing the main principles of key regulatory

topics, followed in the afternoon by discussion of

related real-life case studies.

11th MEDREG GENERAL ASSEMBLY FLORENCE (9-10 June 2011)

The GA is composed of Heads of National Regulatory Authorities or, in the absence of an independent

regulatory authority, by representatives of Ministries in charge of energy. The GA is responsible for

approving high level orientations, operational guidelines and recommendations, as well as the annual

revision of the work plan and budget.

The editorial process is managed by a board of three FSR researchers with different specialisations: Economics, Law and Engineering

The content of the articles is drawn from the research output of the FSR: they include links to FSR working papers, reports, presentations, webinars, etc.
