YOUTH MISSION CAMP - The Youth Mission Trip scheduled for June 15-19th and
the Student Life Camp scheduled for July 13-17th have both been cancelled. In
place of both of these activities, the youth will have the opportunity to
participate in a Youth Mission Camp the week of July 13-17th. Part of the week
will be spent doing camp activities, with the potential for hiking, white water
rafting, canoeing, tubing, and rappelling. The rest of the week will be spent
helping serve at a VBS in Welch, WV, among other outreach opportunities.
Each day students will be dropped off, and each night students will be picked
up; we will not stay overnight. Please sign up by contacting Pastor James and
paying the $50 deposit by June 15th. Contact Pastor James with any questions.
UPDATED YOUTH GROUP SCHEDULE – Beginning this week, the youth will
resume meeting in the Youth Room at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday nights.
There will be a youth leaders’ meeting in the Youth Room on Saturday from

WE WILL CONTINUE COLLECTING - themed items each month for OCC.
For the month of June, we will be taking clothing and shoes that may be
on sale as businesses reopen. The collection container will be out by the
bathrooms on Sunday, June 21st, and Sunday, June 28th. If you have any
questions, please see Holly Parish, Jim Nofsinger, or Pastor James.
OUR JUNE MISSION OFFERING - on June 21st will go to our missionaries
David & Donna Jenkins to help them with purchasing food and supplies for
families they minister to in the Philippines. These families live in extreme
poverty, which has only worsened during the COVID-19 pandemic.
ALPINE JUNIOR CAMP - Registration is now open for camp at Alpine for ages 8
to 12. We are still going to camp, but we’ll be doing things a little differently.
The NEW dates are July 13th and 14th. It will be
a day camp only, so children will travel to camp
in the morning and be picked up from the church in
the afternoon. JCBC will be the only group there
on those days. We will still do many of the fun
activities that your kids love. Parents are
welcome to attend, and younger children may
come with them. Cost is $20 per day (adults are
free) and includes travel, lunch, snacks and all activities. To have your
questions answered and sign up, please contact Pastor Jason by email at
Pastor Jason’s Kids’ Club lessons are

CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES - Our Sunday ministries for children: Kids’ Club,
Children’s Church, Children’s Bible Fellowships, and Nursery, will begin
again next Sunday, June 14th. Precautions will be taken to ensure your
child’s safety. Our Wednesday children’s ministries: Nursery, AWANA,
Arrows, and Krew, will begin on June 17th at 6:30 p.m. We feel it is
important to allow the children the opportunity to finish out the club year
and receive their awards. Safety precautions will be taken for these
activities as well. These start dates are pending any changes to guidelines
for children. Please contact Pastor Jason if you have questions.
THE MASTER’S OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT - hosted
by the Abel Pregnancy Resource Center, will be held
Friday, July 17th, 2020. Al Morgan will be organizing
the teams from our church. If you are interested in
participating in the tournament, or if you don't play
golf but would like to help sponsor a team to raise
money for the Abel Center, please contact Al at
