They need groups to continue to give to fund the ingredients as well as to come and pack. Please consider how you might be involved. For more information, please contact Nick Cunningham at 304-425-7120. Due to social distancing requirements, we have established the following schedule for the business meeting today: 9:45 a.m. - Bible Fellowships will meet as usual. 11:00 a.m. - Combined service. Childrens Church & KidsClub will meet as usual. All those who are 65+, considered high-risk, or are a caretaker for high-risk individuals will meet in the Auditorium. All others will meet in the Fellowship Hall. We will provide a live video feed to the Fellowship Hall and have communication set up with the Auditorium for questions and answers. Ballots will be distributed to all members on the church property for voting purposes. This business meeting will not be recorded or live- streamed. Minutes from the January meeting and subsequent votes are available at the Welcome Center. MERCER CHRISTIAN ACADEMY - is seeking to fill the following teaching positions for the 2020-21 school year: Upper Elementary and High School Science. If you are interested in applying for one of these positions, please contact Mark Patton, MCA Administrator, at [email protected]. PLEASE OBSERVE SOCIAL DISTANCING - guidelines while using our facility, as things may be crowded. If you do not have a face covering, masks are available at the Welcome Center each week. We continue to clean and sanitize our facility between services for the safety of everyone attending in-person. For those who wish to continue attending in the parking lot or at home, our services will remain available by radio via 93.5 FM or online via Facebook, YouTube, and johnstonchapel.org. You may also want to visit our website for guidelines on how to continue supporting the ministry of the church while enjoying our services remotely. D.M.A. FELLOWSHIP OUTING - to the Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theater on Friday, September 11th, to see How Sweet the Sound, celebrating the gift of life through music and song. Cost is $47 per person for transportation, matinee meal and show. Our bus will depart from church at 11:30 a.m. Please see Jim Nofsinger with your payment by August 13th to reserve your place. You can also bring it to the church office or place it in an envelope in the office drop box. Please make checks payable to Johnston Chapel. Social distancing guidelines will be reviewed at the August 13th D.M.A. Fellowship Picnic at the pavilion at 6:00 p.m. OUR JULY MISSIONS OFFERING - today will go to Baptist Mid-Missions and their Global Impact Fund to help them with ministry opportunities related to the COVID-19 pandemic. RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE - on Saturday, August 8th, in the Fellowship Hall from 9:45 a.m. – 1:45 p.m. Blood donors must be healthy, at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 lbs. Please schedule your appointment at www.redcrossblood.org or by contacting the church office at (304) 425-6315. There are currently 19 appointments available. The need is constant; the gratification is instant. Please give blood. EVERYONE IS WELCOME - to join us for the annual AWANA Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, July 29th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Auditorium. Please come and help us celebrate the achievements of our children over this extendedclub year. There will be a popsicle fellowship following the ceremony. YOUTH GROUP - will resume meeting this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Youth Room. Thank you to those that helped with and prayed for our Mission Camp experience this past week.
