(From Target) : “I LOVE the new feature of being able to assign certain assets in a review to particular people. This is very interesting and might help solve some concerns I’ve heard for when we onboard our Weekly Ad team for review (For example, in 1 review, you may have 300+ PDFs representing varying Merchandising departments—Ideally the Merchant would only see the pages that correlate to him or her “

Enable Marketing Collaboration If we take a look at the marketing collaboration activities – We can break it down simply: We have the initiating activity – could be a campaign, a project, any request can initiate a “Job”. During a job’s initiation, we can define and: Set role assignments Set acquisition terms Set planned usages Schedule Approve job start Notification & Status Monitoring We start a cycle of creation, review, approval and back again -- before ultimately publishing, syndicating or delivering the content to the desired channel. With this new functionality, we now enable Marketing Collaboration to streamline content creation for internal and agency projects and campaigns.

Presenter
Presentation Notes
This is all tied together with our message about Accelerating and simplifying Marketing Collaboration and streamlining the creative processes. With this integration, we’re creating “Frictionless Interaction” so that the creative designers never ever have to leave their applications of choice while still having access to all their favorite assets within Media Manager. Those working in creating finished images in Photoshop can save those finals right into OTMM from within Photoshop. The floating palette of Media Manager is a familiar working paradigm that lets them drag and drop, check in and out, and always be sure that the assets are available everywhere they need access to them. This is an add-on to OTMM and available both on-premise and in the cloud.
In OTMM v16, a new module called Adaptive Media Delivery was introduced. This module can be separately deployed with the OTMM server, in the DMZ or, optionally, on a public cloud platform. Adaptive Media Delivery stages media asset renditions in a separate cache that is delivered via direct URL calls from other applications and websites. The module delivers media from OTMM to other systems responsively and eliminates what was typically a manual effort previously. External applications use URLs generated by OTMM to deliver assets and/or renditions in responsive manner, based on the requesting device and additional asset parameters, such as aspect ratio, size, etc. This allows approved media assets to be delivered to multiple channels – such as PIM and multiple Websites – and responsive design allows the assets to be displayed properly on the user’s device. Tracking and reporting on usage metrics provides better insight about the ROI of the produced content. Challenge: Optimize the customer experience with viewable and compatible digital media by delivering content to multiple channels and devices without manual effort to recreate, resize and deliver in different renditions, sizes, aspect ratios, formats, etc. Why is this important? Value Prop: Increase Revenue with faster time to delivery across synchronous, asynchronous and ad hoc delivery channels; automated transform, delivery and distribution across connected networks and media supply chain for greater marketing agility. Connected, consistent and engaging customer experiences.

New - publishing to Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) New - Seamless integration for TeamSite editors Maximize ROI by tracking delivery of media simultaneously in its proper format across all channels and devices OOTB YouTube video publishing capabilities Adaptive Media Delivery Server streamlines finished marketing content with automated delivery of renditions for omni-channel marketing and now Content Delivery Networks. Having a DAM maintain a single source of truth for all of your enterprise assets provides the opportunity to create all of the different formats that might be required for different uses. Consistency is key to brand engagement. Every interaction no matter what channel is a brand experience.
Adaptive media delivery services for integrated publishing of assets for adaptive and responsive multi-channel experiences now includes the delivery of assets to CDNs. Adaptive Media Delivery Services (AMD) Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) are a strategic part of any internet business today. A CDN is a globally distributed network of cache servers using geographic proximity to provide faster delivery, and highly available content. The content is replicated throughout the CDN so it exists in many places all at once. A client accesses a copy of the data near to the client, as opposed to all clients accessing the same central server, to better manage bandwidth limitations and spikes in demand for greater efficiency and reliability. A key value of Media Management to marketing operations is the capability to deliver digital media assets to other systems ready to use. In the OTMM 16.2 release, we introduce the functionality for delivery of assets from Adaptive Media Delivery Services (AMD) to Content Delivery Networks (CDNs). Like delivering assets to YouTube, CDN delivery from the AMD can be configured and automated as an augmentation to a customer's pre-existing relationship with a CDN for assets that are managed in OTMM. If assets are updated in OTMM, new assets can be automatically pushed out to the CDN. Delivering video and other assets from Media Management to Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and others, provides a better user experience with faster access to assets around the world.

As we expand our integration with other solutions in the marketing ecosystem, we had debuted the early connector between OTMM and TeamSite at Enterprise World last year, soon after the HP acquisition. We’re happy to report that now this much improved connector will be shipping with the v16.2 releases and uses AMD for delivery of assets to TeamSite.

Intelligent storage management lets you automate the process of storage of content based on business rules now available as part of the Admin UX. For example, If I’m in a high volume video environment, I can automatically archive content older than 90 days without having to do this manually. This gives you the ability to have a network of storage options based on the value of the content – where you need rapid access or where you want to put content to die. Provides the capability to intelligently manage storage tiers and also tap into cloud based repositories. Storage Connectors to Azure Blob, Amazon S3, Google.
