SchoolRooms Content• 70+ virtual rooms of content.• Content organized by audience: Elementary,

Middle and High School Rooms, as well as Educator, Librarian and Parent Guides.

• Approximately 23,000 links to high quality, educational web resources.

• More than 5 million web pages being crawled by the Best of Web index.

• Also includes videos, audio recordings, digital images, photographs, educational games, etc...

SchoolRooms Implementation• A statewide implementation, much like DISCUS,

for SC’s public libraries and schools.• The State Library is serving as the test library.• 10 Pilot Sites will assist with best practices for the

implementation.• DISCUS databases and library catalogs will be

integrated, in addition to state specific content.• An online registration system is being developed to

allow for immediate access to all of our electronic resources.

• Official statewide launch scheduled for Fall 2008.
