TheKeyCreator2021releaseproductivitybenefitswerebasedondatacollectedfromKeyCreatorusersfocusedonreusingCADdataandproductivitywithoutinterruptingestablishedworkflows.EnhancementsweremadeinMaterials,RGBcolorsandFaceToolsforModelBasedDefinition(MBD)workflowsusedbymoldandtoolingindustries.ThesignificantchangeisthattheMaterials/RGBaresavedwithinthe.CKDpartfileallowingtheeasierexchangeoffilesandmaterialsbetweencoworkers.TheimportprocessnowautomaticallypopulatestheMaterialslistwithmaterials/RGBcolorsusedinthe3Dimportedmodelcapturingmanufacturingintent.Theseupgradesallowfornewfilteringbymaterialsallowinguserstoselectfacesbasedonamaterial/RGBcolor.
NewimportsupportforSTEPAP242continuesaddressingMBDandProductManufacturingInformation(PMI)usedintheindustry.

Forsolidswithangledfeaturesandholesatcompoundangles,asoftenfoundinthefixturedesigns,anewoptionintheProjectedInstancefunctiontoproject“perpendiculartotheline”wascreatedtogetrequiredviews.Thebenefitsare:
