Description
• Initiated in 2013 by the Metro Cebu Development and Coordinating Board (MCDCB) with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Yokohama City
• Aims to formulate a long-term roadmap to realize the Mega Cebu Vision 2050; identify short, medium, and long term priority projects; and prepare hazard maps covering Metro Cebu and the northern part of the province.
• Recommended 14 anchor programs by the IAs, LGUs and the MCDCB during the Roadmap period until 2050. Ten (10) flagship projects were recommended (PhP21,848 million) requiring immediate actions in the short-term (i.e., 2015 to 2017) and to be completed until 2020.

• Approved by the INFRACOM on 20 July 2015, with conduct of detailed F/S of the priority programs/projects identified subject to the following conditions:
a. Incorporation of climate considerations/resiliency measures and possible exploration of alternative RE sources for expected increased energy demand

Description
Involves the formulation of an urban infrastructure development plan with corresponding investment program for Davao City with the target year 2022 in the mid-term and 2045 for the long-term.
The project also involves capacity building activities, such as on-the-job (OJT) trainings and training workshops, to enhance the capacity of NEDA in planning, guiding, evaluating, and coordinating an urban infrastructure development plan, as well as enhance the capacity of the City Government of Davao in urban infrastructure development planning.
