grab a window seat! Perkins Center for the Arts, located at 30 Irvin Ave, is looking outside the box! An exhibit, called “Through My Window,” features the work of 25 artists from Philadelphia’s Da Vinci Art Alliance who were each given a salvaged window and instructed to turn their window into a work of art. This was no easy task for the artists; there is no escaping a window’s original function and form. Participants were required to express an individual interpretation while breathing new life into an everyday object. The results and the exhibit will appeal to art lovers of all ages. The exhibit will run thru Sat Nov 13. A Closing Reception will be held during Second Saturday Nov 13. For more information, call the Perkins Center at 235-6488 or visit perkinscenter.org.
