Numerous challenges exist for expanding oral health care in India.

National oral health policy should be implemented .

Budget for Health care should be increased.

Separate allocation for oral health care in budget.

Compulsory oral health insurance for all with special consideration to children and elderly.

HEALTH CARE DELIVERY SYSTEM

Primary health centers

Incorporation of community Dental health coordinators

Training of new professionals for preventive care

REACHING THE UNRECHABLES

Incorporation of boat ambulance

Hospital on wheels(Lifeline Express) fleets should be increased.

Dental specialists should be with team

ROLE OF NON- GOVERNMENT ORGANISATION

There should be co-ordination between NGOS working in a state .

Portal should be developed for co-ordination between them.

Contribution from all for a common cause.

Adoptation of near by villages

Incorporation of Teledentistry at rural and urban health training center

Numerous challenges exist for expanding oral health care in india it needs to be addressed through legislative reforms

Incorporation of new dental work force to meet the needs of fast changing society

Technological advancements helps to bridge gap between rural and urban healthcare delivery system

CONCLUSION

It is critical that our nation reinforce the bedrock upon which our oral health care workforce is built.

Funds are also needed to support institutional efforts to support oral health care programs.
