I hope you are all well and are making sure you keep safe. Following common sense and being careful. Cover your face and wash your hands like hands like when we had a club stamp, we didn’t want our mother to see. I am sitting here at home looking back to the years where the sun was shining and going out for a ride was the most natural thing in the world. Looking for interesting restaurants to ride to for a bit of food. Now we are all locked up due to a pandemic that is spreading all over the world. That is the time when we need plan for the future and hope for the best. Watching old clips of previous years rides and I can sometimes almost smell the flowers. The March ride was cancelled, so also April ride, Spring Fling and now also a lot of other popular rallies. Still hoping for the June ride which I know is a spectacular ride. It collides with the MOA Rally and we may move it so it won’t, but we never know what the future will bring. They say what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger and who know that may be true. Nothing will last forever, and we are still planning on rides and meetings and as soon as it is safe, we are going to ride a lot. We still hope to have a Fall-back campout in September. Miss you all and hope we will soon be out again so we can ride, eat and ride again. Until then. See what happen in the club on Facebook, meetup and the Cub web page. 1. Our 2019 Federal and State tax filings for CCBR completed

2. The Board of Directors voted recently to use some of the Club funds to send a $1,000 do-

nation to BMW MOA Foundation Endowment Fund . As a result the MOA sent us a “Thank

You gift” of a one year’s charter club renewal fee given.

The Endowment Fund was created by the BMW MOA Foundation, the SafeMiles Endowment .

It is a long-term initiative to permanently fund rider training activities for MOA members. It’s a

$1 million fund that will guarantee rider safety, education and training forever! Every penny

donated to the SafeMiles Endowment will be reserved for the long term future of rider safety,

education and training. No donation will be used for current activities or operations of the

Foundation. It all goes to the future.

SADDLE UP & RIDE TO GREAT FALLS IN 2021

Facing uncertainty in the recovery effort from COVID-19 and possible regulations associated with large group gatherings, the BMW MOA National Rally has been moved to new dates in 2021. The Saddle Up & Ride event will be held at the Montana ExpoPark in Great Falls, Mon-tana, June 24-27, 2021. Rally Chairs Corey & Becky Smith will continue to guide the largest event of the year for BMW motorcycle riders and features will remain essentially unchanged.
