When the weather is too cold outside…. exercise at home
Using a broom&
Plastic glass
Squats
Take the broom with your hands up, You can use a bottle on your head to ensure you have good
posture
Squat your legs at your hips, butt out and move Up and Down
Waist reduction
Contract your abdominal muscles!
Take the broom with one hand. Then open your legs at your hips.
Try to touch the broom with the free hand. Make sure to work your
waist not your back.
Abdomen
Contract your abdominal muscles!
Take the broom with both hands behind your back. Then open your legs at your hips and start to rise
the broom side to side.
Take the broom with both hands in front of you. Then open your legs at
your hips and start to twist side to side. The broom should be first at the waist
level and then change to the level of your chest.
AbdominalsTake the broom with both hands below your knees. Then contract and stretch out your legs. Avoid touching the floor
with your legs or your back.
Resistance & Legs
You can use a pair of plastic glasses to
practice keeping your balance
Put one of the plastic glasses behind your knee and squeeze it. Then put the other plastic glass
between your hands.Start to move up and down on one foot as slowly as you can.
Keep a glass in each hand and stretch your arms. Then, bend it while standing on one foot. Start to move the free leg to the front
and back slowly.This exercise will help you to
burn calories from your hips and tone legs.
