MISSION MILESTONES
Terry Hargrove and Brian Reeves (Eureka Church of Christ) returned from their travels to Nicaragua safely, but not without some snow putting a bit of a damper on their return flight. Their wives picked them up in Chicago, then they headed home, where they had to dig their way into their homes!
Looking forward to their report on the Nicaragua situation.
Facts: the capital city of Nicaragua is Managua with a metro population of approximately 1.7 million. The population of Nicaragua is 5,675,000.

Dear Northwest Family,
Thank you so much for all the prayers for our family over so many months. I wanted to give everyone an update.
My sister LaDonna Clark Hunter has finished Regular Chemo and is waiting to find out Jan 16th if she will have to have immune therapy chemo for the next year. She is very weak and uses a walker to ambu-late.
My brother Rick Clark is on Hospice now at a nursing home. They are keeping him comfortable.
My cousin Judy Powell has laryngeal cancer, she has had her voice box removed and is learning to breathe through a stoma and talk through air coming through the esophagus. It is very difficult for her and her daughter taking care of her, they have no family to help or support them.
Over the holidays another brother Harold Clark that has COPD went to the ER and was diagnosed with lung cancer. He has gone to a Nursing home to rehab to build his strength back up to be able to walk and return to my sister’s home. They were unable to give detailed info on the cancer because he is not strong enough for the test. They believe it is at least Stage 3 in the lump nodes, and his time is limited.
Here at home Jim is recovering from his foot & ankle surgery nicely. He has graduated to an air boot and will start physical therapy this week.
We cannot begin to tell you how much your love and encouragement has meant to us. Being so far from our loved ones and going through such difficult times is very devastating. Your love, friendship and encourage-ment carry us through all the dark times. Thank you from Jim and I both, we are truly blessed to be part of this family of believers.
We thank God for all of you and pray for the work here at Northwest to glorify God and bless everyone we meet. Your continued prayers are appreciated.
Because of the Love of Christ, Cindy Clark DeVore

Thank you for sending flowers to my mother’s services. It was greatly appreciated that Christians are thinking of her and us at this time. The Family of Delores Dancer
