Services and FeaturesEVENT STAFFFrom first concept to the final curtain, The Manitoba Museum’s Special Event Staff will help make your event an absolute success. From choosing the perfect space to working with your caterer, we will plan your logistics from start to finish, leaving you with time to simply enjoy the event.

LOCATIONClose to all major downtown hotels and the Winnipeg Convention Centre, our central location can be quickly and conveniently accessed by car or bus. Ample parking available, surrounding our facility, along with underground parking at the attached Manitoba Centennial Centre.

AUDIO VISUAL and EQUIPMENTWhether it’s for a group of 20 in our executive boardroom or library, or our 236 seat Auditorium, we are equipped with a state-of-the-art LCD projection system and full multimedia capabilities.

The auditorium is also equipped with a raised stage making it a superb venue for performing arts and cultural groups.

CATERINGThe Manitoba Museum works with some of the city’s best professional full service caterers. They are superior in their field and have been selected to work in our unique venues to complement and enhance your occasion. Our event staff can assist you in selecting caterers and menus that will best suit your event. Once your caterer and menu are selected, we will plan the logistics of your function.

Gallery Tours, Speakers and ProgramsWant to showcase Manitoba to your distinguished delegates? Our dynamic trained staff are available for guided tours of the museum galleries and exhibitions, astronomy presentations or behind-the-scenes tours of the collections that highlight the human and natural history of Manitoba.

SPEAKERS/PRESENTERSSpecial arrangements can be made with The Manitoba Museum’s research, collections and astronomy staff to deliver a presentation to your group. Talk to us in the early stages of your planning to allow time to develop programs to meet your needs.

A full suite of audio/video equipment is available to rent for presentations, speeches and entertainment.

Capacities indicated do not take into account additional set-up requirements, such as audio visual equipment, buffet tables and head table or dance floor.

Some venues are not available to rent during public hours.

The Manitoba Museum Galleries house many irreplaceable artifacts. A few practical regulations do apply when the space is rented.

Proceeds generated from the Facility Rentals support the Museum’s educational programs and activities.
