After over 20 years of business activity, the guidelines that have

governed and directed the industrial development of Pentax In-

dustries SpA can finally be traced. Actions and processes have

intersected each other with the evident main aim of creating

value and benefits for the various parts of the production and

distribution process.

ned programme of decentralization of production, have enabled

the company to quickly adapt every time to fast-changing mar-

ket conditions.

Mission

The company headquarters are located in the industrial area of

Veronella, just a few kilometres from Verona. New production

facilities have recently been purchased both in Italy and abroad.

Over the years, the company has set up an organisation able to

adequately support business activities, with an extensive network

connecting it to companies already operating on the market and

strengthening its ability to face up to the hidden threats posed by

the global economy.

PENTAX’s products are available in over 100 countries thanks

among other things to its capacity to overcome the import barriers

erected by a number of governments and which have in many ca-

ses proved negative for the entire population.

The company is able to exhaustively dialogue with any market, pla-

cing its expertise at the disposal of anyone who requires it.

Organisation

For many years now, PENTAX has enjoyed a large share of the

world motor-driven pump market. The sales department is con-

stantly working to better serve existing customers and open new

markets, thanks to the broad range of products at disposal that

allow to cover most of the pump field applications.

Close focus is placed on market surveys so as to immediately tran-

sfer any new requirements to the R&D department: the best way

to develop and adequately foresee future scenarios.

The range of products is extremely vast and so the company is

today able to cater to many different requirements, and above

all manage, every time, to supply a top-quality product at an

affordable price.

Industry leader

For the company, maintaining high technological standards is

absolutely essential since this is the sole factor enabling it to

provide the end user with a high-performance product at an

attractive and affordable price. By outsourcing a number of ope-

rations, PENTAX has been able to benefit from the high degree

of specialization acquired by each single supplier and thereby

concentrate to a greater extent on the performance of the end

product and, of course, on its reliability.

The increase in automation within the production cycles has

not produced a corresponding reduction in staff. If, in fact, on

one hand, the use of technical electronic means and procedures

has considerably reduced the need for human intervention, on

the other, the resources available have been put to good use in

other sectors, including quality control for the development of

new products.

Technology

The real and sole heritage of the company. Always closely fo-

cused on developing new and more incisive synergies, PENTAX

avails itself in each specific company department of valid and

motivated collaborators able to develop skills such as to always

maintain very high professional standards.

The regular updating of individual staff members and the conti-

nuous grafting on of new ones is skilfully amalgamated by the

extensive experience of workers who have been with the com-

pany for many years.

The company operates in strict compliance with applicable laws

and directives on the protection of workers and their health and

constantly researches new methods and procedures able to fa-

vour the well-being of its employees.

Human resources

Production is developed along several assembly, finishing and test

lines.

From a daily output of 600 machines/day concentrated on two

models of motor-driven pumps in 1990, the current output has

now reached over 4000 machines and 150 different models.

All machines undergo error-proof individual (and not random) elec-

tric and hydraulic operating tests.

Production flexibility, meaning the speed at which orders are exe-

cuted and the ability to adapt to changes in demand, both in terms

of quantity and quality, has always been a distinguishing trait of the

company. Many decades of experience and close focus on tech-

nological innovation have enabled the company to adapt to fast-

changing market situations almost in real time.

Production

PENTAX company policy is centred on the continuous upgrading

of all processes, production and organisation. This commitment is

certified by the introduction of a Certified Quality System in con-

formity with the provisions of the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard and

Environment Management System in conformity with the UNI EN

ISO 14001:2004 standard.

Also under way is the planning of a worker Health Management

System in compliance with the OHSAS 18001:1999 standard.
