National Evangelization Team (NET) Ministries My name is Molly Laxen, a parishioner here at Holy Family, for over 14 years. I am so thankful for the faith formation I have received here at Mass and as a graduate of Holy Family Academy. Three years ago, I served with NET Ministries, I had a truly life changing experience. Now, I believe the Lord is calling me to give another year to this ministry and I am really excited about it! I will be spending next school year serving as a Catholic evangelist and missionary. As an evangelist, I will be helping conduct retreats and sharing my faith with youth all across the country. As a missionary, I have a responsibility to raise $7,000. This money helps offset expenses for my training, my healthcare, transportation, equipment and a small monthly stipend. With the blessing of Fr. Joseph, I am asking you to partner with me for this next year to help me reach this minimum funding goal. All donations are tax deductible. You can pledge me online at www.netusa.org/donate and write Molly Laxen in the team member box. Or, send your tax-deductible gifts to NET Ministries, 110 Crusader Ave W, West St. Paul, MN 55118-4427. Make checks payable to NET Ministries and indicate that the donation is for Molly Laxen. I am very grateful for the support I’ve received from the parishioners of this church community. Please keep me in your prayers and know that you remain in mine. Sincerely, Molly

HOMILY

PROFESSION OF FAITH R. I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.

I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation, he came down from heaven,

(All bow while saying:) and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.

I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.

UNIVERSAL PRAYER

R. Lord, hear our prayer.

O sons and daughters, let us sing! The King of heaven, the glorious King, o’er death today rose triumphing. Alleluia! Alleluia! That Easter morn, at break of day, the faithful women went their way to seek the tomb where Jesus lay. Alleluia! Alleluia! An angel clad in white they see, who sat, and spake unto the three, “Your Lord doth go to Galilee.” Alleluia! Alleluia! That night the apostles met in fear; amidst them came their Lord most dear, and said, “My peace be on all here.” Alleluia! On this most holy day of days to God your hearts and voices raise, in laud and jubilee and praise. Alleluia! Alleluia!

away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.

R. Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

HOLY COMMUNION Due to current health regulations, distribution of Holy Communion will take place in the pews. Actively practicing Catholics are invited to extend their hands to receive the Body of Christ.

Please cross your arms across your chest to receive a blessing if you:

prefer to receive on the tongue after Mass need a low-gluten host (Please come to sacristy before Mass) are not Catholic are not prepared to receive at this time

COMMUNION ANTIPHON Gregorian chant, mode II Cantate Domino, alleluia: cantate Domino, benedicite nomen eius: bene nuntiate de die in diem salutare eius, alleluia, alleluia. Sing to the Lord, alleluia, sing to the Lord and bless his name; give the good news of his salvation from day to day, alleluia, alleluia. Ps 96:2

COMMUNION MOTET (9:00 & 11:00) Ad cænam agni providi G. P. da Palestrina (1525-1594) The Lamb's high banquet we await in snow-white robes of royal state: and now, the Red Sea's channel past, to Christ our Prince we sing at last.

Upon the Altar of the Cross His Body hath redeemed our loss: and tasting of his roseate Blood, our life is hid with Him in God.

That Paschal Eve God's arm was bared, the devastating Angel spared: by strength of hand our hosts went free from Pharaoh's ruthless tyranny.

Now Christ, our Paschal Lamb, is slain, the Lamb of God that knows no stain, the true Oblation offered here, our own unleavened Bread sincere.

O Thou, from whom hell's monarch flies, O great, O very Sacrifice, Thy captive people are set free, and endless life restored in Thee.

For Christ, arising from the dead, from conquered hell victorious sped, and thrust the tyrant down to chains, and Paradise for man regains.

SECOND COLLECTION The Care Fund

The Care Fund meets the emergency needs of Holy Family parishioners and the wider community.

CLOSING HYMN Saint Michael Hymnal 474 Christ the Lord is Risen Today llanfair

Following the closing hymn, together we pray a “Hail Mary” for whichever parishioner is the next to be called home to the Lord. In light of the current crisis in the Church, we also pray the “Saint Michael Prayer”, and in honor of the year of Saint Joseph, we pray the “Saint Joseph Prayer”.

HAIL MARY Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

PRAYER TO SAINT JOSEPH Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. To you God entrusted his only Son; in you Mary placed her trust; with you Christ became man. Blessed Joseph, to us too, show yourself a father and guide us in the path of life. Obtain for us grace, mercy, and courage, and defend us from every evil. Amen.

“I Know That My Redeemer Lives”, “Christ the Lord is Risen Today”, Kyrie, Gloria, Alleluia, Sanctus, Agnus Dei, text and music in the public domain. Excerpts from the English translation of
