bAlvenie 12 yoSweet with good body. Gentle spice with a littlevanilla, a balancing peat lurking quietly in the substrata. Dry but warming fi nish.
JurA oriGin 10 yoNotes of damp hay and soft, malty cereal. A touch of peat with gentle oak. The palate is thick and full with more cereal, creamy smoothness and a touch of aniseed. Long fi nish with peppy winter spice.
dAlmore 12 yoFruity on the nose, with malt, orange, sherry and a touch of gingery spice. Medium-bodied on the palate, sherried, fruity and malty. The fi nish is persistently nutty.
lAPHroAiG 10 yoPeat smoke and seaweed leap off the nose, followed by something sweeter and fruitier. Massive on the palate, with fi sh oil, salt and plankton. The fi nish is increasingly drying.
