Advanced Masters and Doctoral Degrees Advanced Masters and Doctorate degrees are offered only on reading-researched mentored basis. All advanced programs will have the oversight of Dr. Kenneth Talbot, and some program will have Directors working with the students in particular areas wherein they specialize. Mentors All students taking courses from the Seminary must have a WTS approved mentor to supervise their study program. If the student cannot find a suitable mentor, the Seminary will mentor the student for a monthly fee. Any cost related to a mentor other than the Seminary is between the student and the mentor and is not the responsibility of the Seminary. Students must have their mentor fill out the mentor form and submit it to the Seminary for approval. Required Course Lectures All course lectures (CDs) [DVDs Greek and Hebrew only] can be purchased on-line at the Whitefield website. The Seminary no longer carries audio tapes except for students who are incarcerated. Student’s can order a CD by mail by stating the name of the course, the course number, and including a check. Check the Whitefield website for proper fees. The student, under license agreement, owns the CD for the courses of study and cannot sell or lend the CDs to any other individual without written permission of the Seminary. Required Books The student will be responsible to purchase the text books required for the courses he is taking. WTS has provided a list of on-line resources at the Whitefield website for students to purchase books. If a book cannot be found please contact the Seminary for instructions. Sequence of Courses After a student has registered and is accepted into a degree program, the Seminary will e-mail an acceptance letter and a degree program guide to the student. The Degree Program Guide lists all the required courses and work to be completed for the degree program. All courses are listed on one page and should be completed in the order that they are listed. If the student desires to take a course out of sequence, the student must call the Seminary for approval. It is highly recommended that a student take only one course at a time. New Testament Greek will be taken after the student completes the first five courses of study (Hermeneutics, Systematic Theology I, II, III, IV), and once completed they shall proceed to Old Testament Hebrew. New Testament Greek and Hebrew New Testament Greek and Hebrew courses are on DVD and when purchased a set of CDs will be sent along for the student to have for audio review. See the Whitefield website for the costs of the DVDs.

Whitefield Seminary does not necessarily endorse every theological position espoused by the lecturers or authors used in our various courses, nor does the use of their lectures or books imply an unequivocal endorsement of Whitefield Seminary by the lecturers or authors. However, we believe that each is an acknowledged scholar in the field in which we make use of their lectures or material. It is our intention to offer our students a wide, yet uniformly orthodox, array of Christian thought and learning in order to equip the student to understand and contend with the many voices, trends, and movements in each academic sphere.
