Green Day in the Bay

April 30, 2011 – Cahill Park Event is attended by more than 1,000 residents and is focused

on raising environmental awareness and providing tools &information they can use to be more eco-friendly.

Day kicks off with a community-wide clean up

Concluded with an eco-fair that provides residents withnew ideas on how to reduce our local carbon footprint

Opening of the Rain Barrel Street Art Project will occur atGreen Day in the Bay. Thirty local professional andstudent artists have created art works using rain barrelsas their canvas. Premiering at Green Day, these artworkswill then be displayed on Silver Spring and around thecommunity for the month of May.

The 4th

of July is the village’s premier event each year. The celebration of our nation’s birth annually brings together over

10,000 residents & friends for fun, food and fireworks.

Parade

Day kicks-off as thousands line the one mile parade route through the

heart of the village, arriving at Klode Park to kick-off a day full of festivities.

Patriots in the Park

A live music stage featuring numerous local bands, great food & kids’

games bring together to enjoy the holiday.

Fireworks Display

Sundown signals the nearing of the big finale of a great day!

This tradition is the peak of the fall color in Whitefish Bay A favorite of families from Waukesha to Whitefish Bay this

event daily draws between 500 to 1,000 attendees.

Each day of the festival the Pumpkin Café warms & welcomes all

attendees to enjoy fun, food & community fellowship.
