Leafing Aluminium PigmentsDue to their high surface tension, leafing aluminium pigments migrate toward the surface of the powder coating film. This enrichment and alignment at the boundary yields high metallic brilliance and gloss. Fine flakes have higher mobility during the powder coating curing process resulting in a higher degree of surface alignment and significantly more defined chrome effect.
The close surface orientation of leafing flakes make them less protected from mechanical and chemical stresses than non-leafing grades. For improved scratch and corrosion resistance, it is often required to overcoat leafing metallic finishes with a protective clear coat.
Aluminiumpigmente leafingDurch ihre hohe Oberflächenspannung orientieren sich diese Pigmente an der Oberfläche des Pulverlackfilms. DEPUVAL is a non-dusting preparation based on leafing and non-leafing aluminium powder. This unique process produces aluminium powders that are safer to incorporate than conventional aluminium flakes. DEPUVAL technology prevents the aluminium particles from becoming airborne therefore significantly reducing the risk of dust explosion. DEPUVAL de-dusted grades are available in leafing, non-leafing and Si- encapsulated grades.

SunMICA: Natural Mica Pearlescent Pigment for Interior Use SunMICA: Perlglanzpigment basierend auf natürlichem Mica für InnenanwendungenSunMICA special effect pigments consist of thin natural mineral mica coated with optical layers of titanium dioxide and/ or iron oxide. Through the precise control of light reflection and refraction, SunMICA offers pure silver-white, interference color, gold and metallic luster effects. Fine particle sizes have high hiding power and satin luster, where as larger particle sizes are more transparent and offer improved sparkle. SunMICA LUX synthetic mica based pearlescent pigments produce cleaner, more chromatic color effects that are well suited for a variety of premium interior powder coatings for consumer appliances, hardware and furniture. The SunMICA LUX white series are widely used when a pure, clean lustrous white finish is desired while the interference series has more intense, brighter colors than their natural mica counterparts.

BURNOCK PHBURNOCK PH phenolic resins for interior can coatings can be formulated as a primer or monocoat system. BURNOCK PH are highly-flexible binders which exhibit outstanding chemical resistance and fast curing properties.
HYDRANHYDRAN polyurethane dispersions (PUDs) provide coatings with exceptional pliability, conformability and adherence. Optimized for metals, glass, wood and leather, HYDRAN PUDs provide exceptional chemical resistance, solvent resistance, weather resistance, heat resistance, rigidity and hardness.
PATELACOLPATELACOL waterborne acrylic resins for pretreatment passivation coatings to replace chromates in a variety of applications, including pre-treatment coatings for coil/pre-coated metal. They provide excellent flexibility, resistance to corrosion, acid, alkali and water. PATELACOL acrylic resins exhibit excellent blending stability with PUDs to be applied to Zinc or Zinc-Aluminum plated metals.
DIC UV Cureable Acrylic UV-curable oligomer resins, which are optimized for hard and soft coat coatings, exhibit fast curability, excellent adherence, non-yellowing properties, abrasion resistance and are available in solvent free varieties.
