ORALLY: Use 10-15 drops in 4-6 ounces of

water or juice 3 times daily to maintain a

GREEN TEA JASMINE TEA

Green tea has been used as a

medicine in China for at least

4,000 years and is made from unfermented leaves

which contain the highest concentration of antioxi-

dants. Antioxidants are essential for good health

because they neutralize free radicals in the body and

may reduce or even help prevent some of the damage

they cause. Free radicals are responsible for aging,

tissue damage, and possibly some diseases. Green tea

contains more antioxidants per part than vegetables

and fruits making it a terrific food for our immune

system. The antioxidants in green tea come in a

number of forms including polyphenols, catechins and

flavonoids. These Green Tea antioxidants were also

recently found to have the ability to increase the

number of T cells in the body. T cells play a key role in

the function of the immune system. T cells are a type of

white blood cell called lymphocytes, which help the

body fight diseases or harmful substances. Green Tea

Jasmine is a flowery shrub

containing white or yellow

flowers, native to Mediterranean countries. Because it is

most often paired with Green tea, it is sometimes

assumed that Jasmine has no health merits outside of

it’s pleasantly relaxing fragrance, but Jasmine does

contain health properties of it’s own. Jasmine is known

to promote relaxation and calm, improvement of

digestion, elimination of toxins, acceleration of

metabolism and weight loss, improved blood circulation

and is commonly known for it’s aphrodisiac effect. A

study done at Kansas State University showed that

jasmine teas are able to inhibit the growth of bacteria

such as Listeria and Salmonella, as well as those

responsible for causing cholera, flu and dysentery. Many

studies have also shown Jasmine tea to have positive

affects on cancer. Jasmine has been used as a powerful

antiseptic and disinfectant, sedative and tonic

recommended for breathing difficulties, coughing and

nervousness. It’s naturally-occurring compounds such as

Benzaldehyde, Benzoic Acid and Benzyl Benzoate have

very effective germicidal, bactericidal, fungicidal and

anti-viral properties and are generally regarded as safe

in foods (GRAS rating by the FDA).
