PREFACE
This publication of WHO'S WHO contains the biographical
sketches of the Members of the 90 seated Tenth Haryana Legislative Assembly
the election for which were held on 22nd February, 2000 and the Assembly
was constituted on 28th February, 2000. The bye- election of Rori Constituency
was held on 26th May, 2000 and Sh. Abhay Singh Chautala was elected from
Indian- National Lok Dal Party. The seat had fallen vacant due to surrender of
that seat by Ch. Om Parkash Chautala who had been elected from two
constituencies i.e. from Rori and Narwana.
These biosketches have been prepared on the basis of information
furnished by the Members themselves and every effort has been made to
ensure the factual accuracy. The party position of the Members included in
this publication is as it stood on the date of election. The names of the
Members have been arranged in English alphabetical order.
Any suggestion regarding improvement in this publication will be
gratefully received by this Secretariat.
