Business Safety Essentials Workshop
Providing a safe work environment, safe equipment and safe substances are all required by law, as is adequate training, instruction and supervision for you and your staff. The Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act and Regulations have now been in place in South Australia for 3 years. There is no excuse for not knowing what your minimum obligations are. Come along to this workshop to find out from safety professionals what these minimum expectations are and how you can achieve them – simply and practically. Topics covered in this workshop include:
Employer (PCBU) and worker duty of care
What you need to know and tell your workers about workplace safety
Minimum expectations for keeping records and maintaining documentation
Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control
Reporting Serious Incidents to SafeWork SA
Managing Contractors and other people who come to your business Don’t get caught by not having your basic and mandatory safety systems in place.
