Concrete begins to set within an hour of being mixed. If your job site is not near a concrete plant a temporary batching plant must be set up. Sand, aggregate and cement must then be shipped to the temporary batching plant to be mixed. All this is necessary to ensure your concrete is properly poured.

Concrete requires 7 - 28 days to properly cure, and weather is a very important factor in determining when concrete can be poured.
