How Bangladeshi players can have an upper edge!

Like any typical ICT services industry, outsourcing BPO is a skilled manpower focused service industry. The services are expected to be critical, crucial and complex (highly technical). Also most of the services call for deployment of manpower on 24x7x365 basis. Bangladesh should prepare itself to move to a positional advantage and establish its position ahead of its competition.

This can only be achieved by developing necessary human resources to handle the job. This aids in initiating the process of setting educational institutes to train and qualify professionals in huge numbers to handle the outsourcing ICT business. With Special focus for language training.

Unless Bangladesh achieves this goal of developing required manpower at a brisk pace, it’s positional advantage it has over other countries like India in terms of infrastructure and other resources shall be lost.

In order to make an entry in a big way into this Vertical, Bangladesh should have at least about 10 lacs trained and certified people in the Infrastructure Management Services spanning all the areas as mentioned above
