• The major difference between Project Server 2010 and Office Project Server 2007 is that 2010 requires Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 to be installed on the computer running Project Server and on all Project Web App servers within a SharePoint farm.

• The 64-bit version of Windows Server 2008 SP2 or Windows Server 2008 R2

• Don’t delete any columns in any built-in lists in the Microsoft Project site template

• Don’t make additional lists based on Issues, Risks, or Deliverables templates in the same project site.

• Don’t delete project sites the “SharePoint way”. • If you synchronize permissions to project sites,

alerts will be lost. To avoid, administer SharePoint permissions yourself.

site is recommended• Project sites can be in any database/site
