WIBA Membership Meeting
April 19, 2017

Scott Howe was our speaker at the March WIBA Membership Meeting. We need to think about the Home Show in 2018. We know we
need a new location. Scott has visited and has reserved the Knight of Columbus on E. Fremont St. in Galesburg for two different dates.
The Board will meet after this meeting to make some more details. The date chosen will be
April 28-29th, 2018. It was reserved with Mike Reed, manager of the Knights of Columbus. Move in will be on Friday, April 27th. The hours
will be on Saturday from10a.m.-6p.m. and on Sunday from12 noon-6p.m. We are looking at continuing to have ac-
tivities for the children so that families will come to the Home Show like a bounce house etc. We
are also planning on having tents outside too. They will provide 8 ft. tables and table-cloths for us. Booths inside will be 8x8 and out-
side will be 10x10 for equipment and lawn furni-ture etc. if people want a larger booth.
Food and drinks will be available to pur-chase from Knights of Columbus. They have a great parking lot. Vendors will park in the back
parking lot to leave room for more customers.

The WIBA Golf Committee will meet after the WIBA Membership Meeting on
April 19th. The WIBA Golf Outing is July 13th at
Oak Run Golf Course with a 1p.m. start.
The 2018 WIBA Home Show will be at
the Knights of Columbus on April 28-29 on Saturday from 10a.m.-6p.m. and on
Sunday from12noon—6p.m. Set Up will be on Friday April 27th.

Dear WIBA Members,
We have a plan on board for the Home Show next
year. It is going to be great!
The Home Show will have plenty of space at the
Knights of Columbus and electricity for those who need it.
There is a garage door in the back on the building to bring
in large signs and a double door with the center open for
easy access. Small items can be brought in through the
regular front doors. We can still set up on Friday or Satur-
day morning.
It has a nice, huge parking lot. We want vendors
to park in the back to have plenty of room for customers
out front. We plan on trying to have things going on out-
side to help make it an attraction for those driving by. And
the Knights of Columbus can put our event on their sign
out front ahead of time.
We are going to plan children’s activities so that
families can come to the Home Show and the kids have
something to enjoy too!
We will have hot, fresh food and drinks available
for purchase during the Hone Show.

2017 WIBA Annual
Golf Outing Hole Sponsorship
To our new hole sponsors, thank you for sponsoring a hole at this year’s WIBA
Golf Outing. We appreciate your support of our members and the work they do in
our community.
The first year, the cost of a hole sponsorship for our golf outing is $75. WIBA
will have a sign made for you that will be displayed at one of the tees during our
WIBA Golf Outing. Subsequent years will only cost $50 as WIBA will keep your
sign and reuse it each year.
Please let us know what you would like printed on your sign. The signs are
22” round golf balls with a maximum 16” wide by 13” high text area. The more you
place on the sign, the smaller the text size will be. We recommend your business
name or your business name with a phone number or website. We cannot print logos
on the signs. If you would like your logo placed on your sign, you will need to pro-
vide the logo on sticker paper to WIBA prior to June 30, 2017.
