Getting Started•Go to www.wikispaces.com• Choose “Tours”• Follow instructions to set-up wiki.• Note: Invite each group member and all
course instructors to contribute.

1. Go to your wiki.2. On the left, choose “Manage Wiki”.3. Choose “Invite People”.4. Enter the email addresses of all instructors.

Requirements•Each student will establish a blog.• Used to reflect on topics related to teaching
math and science to ELLs.• Invited classmates will engage in blogging with
the blog author.
Getting Started•Go to www.blogger.com/start• Under “Learn More”, choose “Take a quick
tour”• Choose “create a blog”. Follow instructions.• You will invite all instructors and the
designated class members to your blog.

Selecting Podcasts1. Podcasts must be related to strategies for
teaching math and science to ELLs.2. Podcasts must be available at no cost to view
or download.3. Podcasts must be appropriate for use in K-12
settings.Posting Podcasts4. Go to the class wiki at the link belowMath Science Podcasts for ELL for EESL 6502. Read the first page. Follow directions to
explore the wiki.3. Follow directions to post your podcasts and
review the podcasts of others.

WIKIS1. Each student will set-up a wiki to use as a collaborative
tool for teachers or students.2. Each student will set-up a wiki. Each group member
will have a page at that wikispace.3. We will monitor progress of the project using the
wikispace your team designates.BLOGS4. Each student will set-up a blog. 5. Each student will invite designated classmates and all

2 math-ELL podcasts; review podcasts posted by designated classmates.
