COVID-19 The Premier and Minister for Education have announced a phased operating model for NSW schools during COVID-19. The model will see students being reintroduced to face-to-face learning on campus starting from week 3. The plan is phased and flexible, allowing us to slowly bring schools back to normal while responding quickly to new spikes in transmission if they occur. There are five phases to get us back to full onsite school operations: Phase 0: Where we currently are, schools are open for families who need it Phase 1: Students at school at least one day per week. Phase 2. Students at school at least two days per week. Phase 3. Students at school five days per week, with social distancing measures. Phase 4. Students at school five days per week, with full school activities. More information on the phases will be shared as we determine our next steps. We will communicate directly with parents, carers and students throughout Term 2 regarding changes to phases. I would like acknowledge parents and carers who have shown such patience, support and flexibility. I appreciate that you have all faced many challenges over the past few months and encourage you all to keep up with the amazing job you are doing. We are here to support you, so please do not hesitate to contact the school at any time. I also would like to congratulate our amazing students who have engaged in their learning with such enthusiasm. Change in routine is particularly challenging and we are proud of the effort and flexibility the students have displayed. Finally, I would like to acknowledge the incredibly hard working and committed staff, who have also faced many challenges, but remained positive and devoted to ensuring that every student at Willans Hill is known, valued and cared for. COVID-19

The Premier and Minister for Education have announced a phased operating model for NSW schools during COVID-19. The

model will see students being reintroduced to face-to-face learning on campus starting from week 3. The plan is phased and

flexible, allowing us to slowly bring schools back to normal while responding quickly to new spikes in transmission if they

occur.

There are five phases to get us back to full onsite school operations:

Phase 1: Students at school at least one day per week.

Phase 2. Students at school at least two days per week.

Phase 3. Students at school five days per week, with social distancing measures.

Phase 4. Students at school five days per week, with full school activities.

More information on the phases will be shared as we determine our next steps. We will communicate directly with parents,

carers and students throughout Term 2 regarding changes to phases.

I would like acknowledge parents and carers who have shown such patience, support and flexibility. I appreciate that you have

I also would like to congratulate our amazing students who have engaged in their learning with such enthusiasm. Change in

routine is particularly challenging and we are proud of the effort and flexibility the students have displayed.

Work Experience

Janine our Job Coach has been contacting host employers in the community with regard to work experience.

Janine is speaking with the employers to discuss with them when they are comfortable with students resuming work placements within their workplaces.

The work experience program is being guided by the Department of Education's policies with regard to COVID 19 to ensure the safety of students, staff and employers.

Parents are assured that there will be strict social distancing and hygiene procedures in place for each individual workplace.

Students will be instructed in these policies prior to placements and this will also be monitored while the students are in the workplace.
