west of Ashford that had been running since 1928. Work
started on building the hospital in 1973, it was
commissioned in 1977 and opened in 1979.

Willesborough Windmill was built in 1869 and is one of
Willesborough’s Grade II listed buildings. It is a fully
restored working white smock mill, standing two storeys
high with a red brick base. The miller's cottage is also
attached.
The mill produces traditional stoneground wholemeal flour
which is for sale at the Mill and at farm shop outlets in the
area.
Willesborough Windmill hosts special events throughout the
year and is also available as a wedding venue.
The Windmill opens in 2015 on Saturday 28th March.

The William Harvey Inn was named after the
famous physician who, it is believed, used to
stay there with family. It was originally two
cottages but was converted to a pub in 1963.
Today it specialises in sport and Nepalese food.
The Windmill Inn (still called The Fox by some) is
Willesborough’s very own live music venue and
friendly family pub.
