  2. 2. BIOGRAPHY William Shakespeare was a very important writer. He wrote 38 plays for the theatre. He wrote poetry too. He wrote 154 sonnets. He was born in 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. His parents were Jonh Shakespeare and Mary Arden. He went to Stratford Grammar School. It provided him his first knowledge of grammar literature. He got married on the 28th of November in 1582 with Anne Hathaway.He had one son and two daughters. He went to London to be an actor. But he became famous for writing plays. He died in 1616.
  3. 3. WRITINGS TRAGEDIES Romeo and Juliet: It tells the story of two young lovers who , despite opposition from his opponents families choose to marry. It's developed in the century XIV. Antony and Cleopatra(1607-1608); Hamlet (1600-1601); Julius Caesar(1599-1600); Macbeth(1605-1606)

It features the beautiful Imogen, considered by many to be Shakespeare's most admirable female character.
